You can't sentence me to nothin'. You're not even legally a person! You're just a woman in a man's office.
Despite your objections I am a fully qualified magistrate and will sentence you to what you deserve.
This is getting out of hand. It's 1916 and women still don't share men's rights. If no one else does anything I will! One day I'll be the first female senator.
As women became more independent, protests ensued
