Comic Strip: "The Outsiders"
This storyboard does not have a description.
Johnny and Pony come back to the church that they were staying at to find it burning and trapped kids inside.
Pony's arm was grabbed by a man but he jerked free and ran into the church.
"I'll get them. You kids stay out."
Johnny and Pony got all the kids out of the church before it collapsed.
Pony was able to get out but Johnny was stopped by a falling beam.
In an ambulance, a parent of one of the kids thanks Pony.
"I swear, you three are the bravest kids I've seen in a long time. First you and the black-haired kid climbing in that window, and then the tough-looking kid going back in to save him. Mrs. O'Briant and I think you were sent straight from heaven. Or are you just professional heros or something?"
Theme: "What it means to be a hero." Person vs Society Quote: "The article told how Johnny and I had risked our lives saving those little kids, and there was a comment from one of the parent, who said that they would of all burned if it weren't for us."
"I don't mind dying now. It's worth it. It's worth saving those kids. Their lives are worth more than mine."
