  • Dorothy is living a normal life on her aunt and uncle's farm with her dog Toto.
  • Climax
  • One day, there was a big tornado headed toward the farm! Dororthy was so scared because she did not know that her aunt and uncle were in the cellar. She went in her house to find them, when the tornado lifted up her house and took her to the land called Oz.
  • Falling Action
  • When Dorothy landed in Oz, her house fell on the Wicked Witch of the East. As reward for killing her, she gets ruby slippers. Although Oz is great, Dorothy misses her home. She is told by Glinda the Good Witch she must go to the Wizard of Oz to go home.
  • Resolution
  • Dorothy is kidnapped by the Wicked Witch of the West, who is after her magical ruby slippers. Dororthy poored water on the Witch, causing her to melt. 
  • Dorothy goes to the Wizard and ask how she could get home. The Wizard said that if Dororthy clicked her heels three times together and recite "there's no place like home", she would return home, so she did.
  • Dorothy returned home safely and lived happily ever after.
