  • Tests/Allies/Enemies
  • Iolaus, Hercules's nephew helped Hercules on all of his labors. He also provided aid and help to Hercules if he needed it. Iolaus was Hercules's mentor as he always told Hercules how to defeat his enemies. Hercules had no special weapon but his shield which protected him from the hydra's heads. Hercules had one special ability which was super strength as he was the strongest person alive.
  • Iolaus come escort me on my second labor.
  • Hercules crossed the threshold by shooting flaming arrows at the Hydra to lure it out of it's den. This started the fight between the Hydra and Hercules.
  • During the fight against the Hydra, Hercules learns that his biggest test is that the Hydra head will grow back twice if cut off from the body. Hercules's ally is Iolaus as he burned the neck of each sliced hydra head so that it wouldn't grow back. One enemy besides the Hydra was a giant crab that helped to capture Hercules during his fight with the Hydra.
