Thank you so much for meeting with me Dr. Weston.
It is my pleasure. As the Department Head of World Languages, helping students pursue their interests in those languages makes me happy.
I saw online that you are trying to institute a translation and interpreting program for German. What prompted you to do this?
Yes, a German major student thought it would be really beneficial in conjunction with the German major.
Translation is useful here!
Would it be possible to create a program for general translation? Students could specialize in the langaueg of their choice and English.
Though it is a useful field, instituting a new course of study can be expensive and time consuming.
Yes! That means that I could potentially get the ball in motion!!
In theory, it would be feasible. Especially since we have a large student body in the Department of World Languages.
