Storyboard Text

  • The Tell Tale Heart Chapter 1
  • Chapter 2
  • Chapter 3
  • I will prove my sanity by walking you though how cleverly I did everything. I did not hate the old man, he did not vex me, nor did I want his money, in fact I even loved him. I think it was his eye that made me want to kill him.
  • Chapter 4
  • Yes it must have been his eye. His cold vulture like eye, when ever I looked at it it sent chills down my spine. After that I knew I had to get rid of that eye forever.
  • Chapter 5
  • I took care of the old man for seven days, I treated him better then I ever did before. Every night around midnight I creeped in, ever so stealthily. And with a lantern, lit up his eye.
  • Chapter 6
  • On the eighth night when I peeked my head though the door I found the old man awake. I was suddenly filled with rage and pounced on the old man, he let out a loud shriek and I smothered him with a pillow and shoved him under the floor.
  • In the morning the police arrived saying that the neighbors heard a loud shriek. I let them in knowing I had nothing to fear. I set chairs down in the old mans room imploring the to stay. But I soon wished them gone, a loud ringing had started to pierce my head .
  • I talked faster and faster until the ringing turned into a loud heart beat. I couldn't take it any more I got up and threw the chair across the room I pointed at the ground saying "I admit I did the deed just make the heart stop beating."
