  • At lunch Sally realizes they are out of chocolate milk. Her amygdala is triggered , this makes her sad.
  • After lunch she goes back to class, she learns three new words.
  • Reticular formation-connects spinal cord, cerebrum and the cerebellum. Thalamus- sends messages from sense organs to the cerebral cortex. Motor cortex-transmits impulses to the voluntary muscles.
  • While Sally is waiting for school to end, she uses her hippocampus to remember she has homework.
  • While walking home, Sally tells her friend all about her day.
