Storyboard Text

  • When I shoot the ball the force I put on it will cause it to go forward, and up.
  • The ball is at its peak.
  • Score!!
  • According to physicsclassroom.com, a projectile is an object with a single force acting against the force of gravity. A basketball uses the force of the shooter to go upward, and forward. Gravity pulls the ball towards the ground. Causing a projectile motion.
  • When the projectile is at its highest point, the gravity becomes stronger than the initial force, and its height decreases.
  • The gravity brought the ball down towards the Earth causing the ball to go into the basket.
