Proctor walks into the court room with a gait that shows he means business.
When Proctor says he plows his field on Sunday and that is the reason he doesn't go to church, Danforth states, "I judge nothing." This is ironic because he is a judge,therefore he does judge.
Mr. Danfoth tells Proctor that his wife is pregnant, but there are so visual signs. Proctor says his wife would never lie.The baby is symbolic for life because it is keeping Elizabeth alive.
Proctor gives Danforth a "sort of testimony" with 91 signatures saying that Elizabeth, Francis nurse, and Martha Corey are all good women. This paper symbolizes that the women are truly good ladies.
We, the audience, know that Mary was telling the truth that all the girls were lying but now she is going against proctor even though we know she knows the girls are lying but the judge doesnt. This is dramatic Irony.
Abby cries that Mary has sent a spirit towards her in bird form. The bird symbolizes that Abby controls the court and what happens within it. Even though that statement seems incredulously, many believe her.
