  • So you just want me to write for 5 minutes about what you just read?
  • Using a stimuli to jump start student thinking such as a read-aloud, or short video
  • I want you to listen to the speech and then react in a 5 minute writing.
  • Quick Writes can also be open-ended!!

  • Don't Worry! It's a brief writing exercise Your teacher is not overly concerned with form You can share with you friends :) Sometimes it's as simple as an admit or exit slip
