  • James Gatz
  • The eyes of T.J. Eckleburg are a symbol in the Great gatsby and they represent a higher being,god-like figure that watches over the sins in the Mr.Wilson's small, ghetto city.
  • This gift box represents the crazy parties that Gatsby throws in his mansion to get Daisy's attention. The theme in the Great Gatsby is "Love is worth fighting for" and Gatsby truly believes this and its obvious, because he goes through extreme measures to just get Daisy's attention
  • The theme represented here is the greed and corruption of the upper class, and this represents the event where Nick is learning about how Gatsby came across his money.Previously we've heard rumors about earning it by bootlegging.
  • This represents the theme of the deception and fidelity of people. In chapter 5,we have the meeting between Gatsby and Daisy at Nick's house.Daisy saying "Who is Tom" shows how she's deceiving Tom about her fidelity to him, behind his back and also how Tom is doing the same thing.
  • This represents the decline of the American dream because in chapter 6,Tom starts to catch on to Gatsby and Daisy's hidden relations,so Gatsby's dream of being with Daisy may or may not end up being.
