Exponent laws are for multiplying and dividing powers with the same base. Exponents can also be called powers
When you multiply two powers with the same base you add. When you divide two powers with the same base you subtract.
Multiply - (x^3)*(x^5)=(x^8) Divide- (x^4)/(x^3)=(x^4)-(x^3)=(x^1)
Power to a power is when you take both powers and multiply them by each other.
Solve 8^5 Times 8^5 = 8^25
For Negative exponents you move the negative number in the numerator to the denominator and make it positive.
6^-3 = 1/6^3
7^0=1 Negative exponents = 1
Zero Exponents is when you have a zero in the powers place. When you have a zero the answer is always 1. 457^0=1
Well class this is it for Exponent Laws. I hope you enjoyed it and that you learned something!
