The king gave a goldsmith a bar of gold to make a crown.
When he returned the king was confused by the size of the crown compared with the amount of gold he gave him.
He filled the water up to the brim and placed it inside the other one and measured how much water came out after he put the gold bar in it
The, he did the same thing with the crown to see if there was a difference.
The bucket with the gold bar over flowed the most which meant that the king was being tricked and that crown did not include all the gold
The king fired the goldsmith as he was sure it was a fraud
