EVERYONE should have the right to vote!

14th Amendment (1868)- All persons born or naturalized in the US are guaranteed equal protection under the law
13th Amendment (1865)- To ban slavery throughout the nation
FREE CITIZENS VOTE!!!
15th Amendment (1870)- To grant African American males, 21 and over, the right to vote
(SIgning the 13th Amendment)
With the amount of debt I have to repay, my great-great grandchildren will be in debt!
Why yes, we technically do have freedom, but sharecropping has made our lives quite unpleasant!
Sharecropping is when Freedmen like us work on a plantation willingly
The landowner provides us with seed, fertilizers and tools and we give him a share of the crop during harvest. We have to eventually pay him back though :(
