Storyboard Text

  • Am I losing my mind?
  • No, I am only stressed.
  • The time is here!
  • Focus on what's important!
  • "Or art thou but a dagger of the mind, a false creation proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain?"(II.I.48) His mind is creating the dagger because he is stressed from knowing he will kill the king.
  • Stop acting like a child!
  • "The bell invites me, Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a knell. That summons thee to heaven or to hell"(II.I.75). It is at nigh, Duncan is asleep and Macbeth will kill him now.
  • Play it cool.
  • "These deeds must not be though after these ways; so, it will make us mad"(II.II.45).  Lady Macbeth doesn't want Macbeth to think about the things he did in a horrible way.
  • We need to get out of here. Trust no one.
  • "Infirm of purpose! Give me the daggers. The sleeping and the dead are but pictures. 'Tis the eye of childhood that fears a painted devil"(II.II.68). Macbeth is not taking the murder well and Lady Macbeth wants him to stop acting like a coward.
  • "What, in our house?"(II.III.103) Lady Macbeth is trying to act sweet and innocent, so that no one suspects she is guilty.
  • "Where we are, there's daggers in men's smiles. The near is blood, the nearer bloody"(II.III.164). Most likely the people most close to them will kill them. It could be anyone so they can trust nobody.
