Hi, I am Odon Jerzy Wos and I originated in Warsaw, Poland. I am Roman Catholic and go to school. On the first day of second school, the German's attacked Poland. There were dead bodies everywhere. Then, four weeks later, Warsaw surrendered.
At the age of 16, I joined the Polish army to train for revenge. On the first day of August, Warsaw started its revolution. I was most of the time the one to crawl through sewer pipes with a 50 lb. sack around my back. It was around 6 hours there and about 4 hours back; On October 3, after 63 days, we soon surrendered.
I eventually was taken to a concentration camp in Austria. I escaped and traveled to Switzerland in April, 1944. I ended up rejoining Polish troops, then fight with the Allies in France.
