Because of Sinbad's love of trading and traveling him and his crew set off on his 4th voyage. Sinbad and his crew were in a bad shipwreck and only a few made it and were washed ashore a strange island.
Natives came and took Sinbad and his men and continuously fed them poisoned food that caused them to go crazy and they were fattening them up. Sinbad realized that these natives were cannibals and starved himself but his crew was not as cautious and ate the food.
Sinbad fled from the natives tribe when he could and came to a kingdom where he became great friends with the king. He showed the king how to make new things like saddles for the kings horses and Sinbad became rich.
The king wanting to show Sinbad that he was one of them now he arranged for Sinbad to be married and Sinbad became a very wealthy man.
Then one day his wife fell deathly ill and he learned that one of the laws of the kingdom was that if one couple dies the other is buried with them so Sinbad was buried with his late wife with loafs of bread and pitchers of water. But he found a way out of the cave and took all the treasures of each person that was buried in the tomb with all their treasures.
Sinbad then saw a ship traveling close to the island and went on to continue to trade with them until he reached Baghdad.
