  • These should be enough. I just need to find a can opener 
  • I’ll share my knowledge with those who will support the militia
  • This scene gives pretty much about the opening of the story, it shows how struggled Lisa was, she has to find food in empty houses to keep her and Todd live through the days. They were trying to survive not to actually live
  • I didn’t think there was this much soup in the whole world, Craig
  • Yeah!!!
  • The farm is Lisa first great idea. It can provide food and also helps growing crops. This is the place that Lisa finds out the letter, which is an encouragement for her during the hard time. A big source of supplies here leads Lisa to the idea of driving a car and it’s an amazing way of transportation
  • I don’t want any trouble with your gang and it’s just we can take care of ourselves 
  • Now wait a minute!
  • This scene is the militia first meeting and it’s very important for the plot. The meeting brings the children together to not only share food but also to form a strong alliance that can defense themselves against the gangs. The militia is a long term plan for the families, the children don’t have to worry of starving in the trade with Lisa. The scene also shows that Lisa is a great leader
  • A warehouse is the best source of supplies that Lisa can think of. It has everything for the children and the supplies can last for years, find out the warehouse is a big advantage that helps her a lot in long term. Going to the warehouse with Craig means that’s Lisa trust him, in exchange, Craig promises to take care of Todd. This scene shows how much Lisa has changed, she cares about Todd, she shares secret with Craig and think about other children
  • This scene of Lisa refuses Tom Logan may cause lots of upcoming events in the story. Tom isn’t a guy that forgets things easy!
  • This last science of chapter 9 carries a lot of emotions. A burning house also burns away Lisa’s brave, hopes for the future she has planned. The moment Lisa thinks that everything is under her control, it turns out it isn’t. This event would probably changed Lisa one or many ways and it will open a new chapter for the ch
