  • A year ago from today, I have sworn to celebrate this day in a beautiful and mighty home.
  • Beowulf: Scene 1
  • We will always treasure and value this my king.
  • Thank you for all my king
  • Beowulf: Scene 1
  • All chanting
  • The day of appreciation finally arrived for the king and his peoples land. One years past, The king had waited patiently for this day and had sworn to his people in the past, keeping his word to have celebrated this day in a new mighty and beautiful home.
  • Beowulf: Scene 1
  • The people of Heorot celebrated what the king had done for them, The men and women gathered, admiring and respecting the king, in his honor they feasted eating and drinking remarkable foods and beverages.
  • Beowulf: Scene 1
  • STOP, NO MORE!!! STOP SINGING!!!!
  • The men of Heorot gathered toasting their brew, then chanted a song they found to be momentous, A song so unique to them was about the kings and God’s creation of the earth.
  • Beowulf: Scene 1
  • That very night a monster named Grendal, who lived melancholy in his lair, heard upon the song he found tragic. Even through the woods and caves, he strongly despised it. The monster’s ears would pound because of the sound which angered him terribly.
  • Grendal's ears pounded, he cried because it hurt and shouted for it to stop, Grendal's ears were way more than sensitive. A noise even thousands of miles away would sound as if some one were to be up close yelling in your ear.
  • Moments after Grendal's troubles, he decided to intrude while the men of Heorot were asleep, he barged in breaking through the doors killing several men. The king's men were defenseless against the beast. As he took each of the king’s men’s lives.
