  • I had a terrible dream that I gave birth to a torch that destroyed Troy!
  • I must consult with the prophets
  • I understand. I will tell my friend to bring back the tounge and kill him for me.
  • you must kill him!
  • Queen Hecuba has a dream that she gives birth to a torch. And she becomes frightened.
  • I will leave you here to die from the animals
  • Queen Hecuba tells her husband, the king, all about her dream. This makes the king go to a prophet and ask him what he thinks about the dream her wife had.
  • You survived! This must be a message from the gods. I will raise you.
  • The king goes to tell the prophet about the dream. Then, he finds out that his son has to be killed. This is because the prophet believes that his son could lead to the fall of Troy.

  • the kings friend decides to bring the baby to the mountain. This is where he will surely be killed by the aninmals.
  • The kings friend finds that the baby is alive and well. Also, he was being admired by a family of bears. Then, the kings friend decides this is a message from the gods. So, he now comes to the decision that he is going to raise the baby.
  • The kings friend ends up bringing the tongue of an animal to convince the king that he really did kill his son. Now, the kings friend is in control of the sons baby.
