Project in English

Storyboard Text

  • Pay attention in class thoroughly
  • Don't feel the urge to not do your homework
  • Stay Calm
  • If you pay attention in class and know the material, you won’t need to study as hard. Memory is key in school. That’s all school is, memorization. Paying attention in class can also make exams way easier. Everything on the exam is what you learned throughout the school year. It’s not random problems like in the ISATs. You know the material.
  • Keep your grades up
  • No matter if it’s one more game on Call of Duty, or just a few more videos on Youtube, get it done! Never say you’ll get it done in AP the next day too. You won’t. You only have 15 minutes in AP and a lot of distractions. Projects are also the same as homework, don’t do them the very last minute.
  • Stay on the teachers good side
  • Don’t freak out about projects, especially if they’re big. You have the perfect amount of time to get them done. If you’re starting to struggle in school due to sports, tell the coach that you need a little bit of time to get your grades up. They will fully understand. If they get angry, they’re in the wrong. School over sports.
  • Be social
  • If you don’t keep your grades up, you’ll have to retake classes or even a whole year of highschool. Colleges also look at your grades throughout high school and if they’re good enough, you’ll get a scholarship to a college. If you struggle with school due to sports or any other activity, tell your coach or a person who is in charge.
  • If it requires no talking, power through. You have to deal with some of the same teachers for 4 years and you don’t want to receive hatred from them for 4 years straight. It also makes your siblings look bad.
  • You’ll hate your Freshman year if you don’t meet new people. You’ll feel lonely and bored and no one wants to remember their high school years being terrible. So be nice to the seniors in school. Play sports to try and get brownie points with the upperclassmen. You’ll also find out who your real friends are. You might even make friends with someone you had no intentions of being friends with.
