Identified students are first given surveys asking them for their interests and hobbies. Counsellors from TOUCH CyberWellness will then collate the survey results and put students with common interests in groups of 4. Counsellors will facilitate the chat room session, encouraging students to speak up and spurring them on to talk about their interests. The 1 hour session will be held once every week, throughout the year. For the first 3 terms of school, students will be engaging in friendly conversation about their common interests. For the last term, students will be playing sports together, in order to further improve their social skills. Such activities helps the children to acquire social skills essential for them to make friends outside the virtual world and in turn spend more time in real interactions instead of gaming with virtual friends
