This storyboard does not have a description.
The theme of the story is don't give up on something you believe in. Doon and Lina didn't give up when they were called crazy. They won't give up for citizens of Ember.
Doon Is the main character of City of Ember. He is very smart, but has anger issues. He is very curious and loves bugs. Alough Doon has some good character traits, he is very unlikeable.
Doon is a static character, because he does not learn from his mistakes through out the book. At the beginning of the book, Doon is stubborn and wants to save Ember to be the center of attention. At the climax, his anger is a bit better but he is still set on being the hero. By the end of the book, Doon has made no character development.
I AM NOT!
Doon's conflict is man vs self. His anger issues can create problems for his everyday. He once stated “He was angry at his anger, the way it surged up and took over.”
STOP LYING! I DON'T GET ANGRY!
If I were to recreate the ending to "City Of Ember," I would make Doon and Lina die. When they get to the tunnels, Doon and lina would not be smart enough to figure out how to light the matches. They would wander into the dark, until they fall into a pit.
One peice of symbolism I found was the worm in the box. The Box symbolized Ember and the Worm represented the citizens. The worm showed how when it outgrows it's habitat, It needed a bigger one. As the citizens grew in population, Ember could not contain them.
