It was a nice day on the island of Crete, but later that day...
A volcano erupted on a near by island and an earthquakes shook the earth as volcanic ash was carried towards Crete.
Rumble Rumble Rumble
The earthquakes got worse and worse and later it started to destroy the buildings in Crete.
Shortly after the earthquake a giant tsunami came and flooded parts of the island.
And after the earthquake and the tsunami winds carried the volcanic ash to Crete and the poisonous ash caused the soil of Crete to lose its fertility. This was the main downfall of Crete. The poisonous gas also poisoned some of the people at higher elevations on the island.
Eventually most the people either left or died and the age of the Minoans was over.
