HES 360 Decision-Making Comic Strip
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hey, We are all meeting up at my house tonight for a get together. My parents are out so we can raid their alcohol cabinet. You should swing by. I hear Mark is gonna be there.
That sounds like fun but I don't think my parents would want me drinking. I'm underage. I would feel terrible if I let them down.
Well, call me later. If they do not want you to go just sneak out. Say you are going to your room to study and then leave. I do it all the time and my parents have never found out.
I'll think about it.
My options are: I could go to the party and not tell my parents. I could not go to the party and see my friends another time or I could see If people would want to come over here without alcohol.
I really don't know what to do here. I have never been invited to a party before and I really want to look cool in front of Mark.
If I go to the party I could talk to Mark but I know underage drinking is wrong and I could get in trouble for it. I also do not want to lie to my parents.
Maybe If I asked if people would want to come here instead of drinking I could talk to Mark and I would not have to lie to my parents. If it goes well maybe people would want to hang out more.
If i don't go to the party people might think I am lame. My parents would be proud but I also might not get another chance to talk to Mark outside of school.
Hey Stacy, I have been thinking a lot about it but I don't think I could lie to my parents. I also do not feel comfortable drinking under age. Would anyone want to come over here instead and hang out without alcohol?
Stacy: Yes of course, as long as we get to hang out with you. I told Mark that you wanted him over and he seems super excited. I can't wait.
