I overheard you talking about how you would like to learn more about what a Constituent,Census, and a Cloture. Well.. a 16.constituent is being a voting member of a community of an organization. A 17.Census is a procedure systematically acquiring and recording information. And last but not least a 18.Cloture is a procedure for ending a debate. Hope this helped you guys! I hope you kids a good lunch now we are going to be learning the difference between a veto and a pocket veto! A 19.veto is the right to reject a decision, which is something a president may do to a law. A 20.pocket veto is an indirect veto.
Well mom, we learned a lot about the legislative branch. We talked about 21.impeach which means to call into question. Also we talked about the 22.Bill of Attainder which is a law that punishes a person accused of a crime without a trial or a fair hearing in court. 23.The Writ of habeas corpus is also something we learned about. Its a court order that requires police to bring a prisoner to court to explain why they are holding. Also we talked about the 24.ex post facto law which would allow a person to be punished for an action that was not against the law when it was committed. Also, a 25.filibuster is a action such as a prolonged speech.
