Let us discuss the future of France and a revolution
I agree, let us hold a meeting with of our fellow thinkers
We should consider pursuing a policy of reconciliation
This committee will have strict policies for the person's who go against the revolution
Each insight is heavily contradicting each other, I know not what to choose
Our committee can no longer remain in power after the death of Robespierre
Is there nothing else we can do in this situation?
The Committee of Public Safety was controlled over Georges Danton and his followers. The people who dominated the Committee were soon replaced by more prestigious people. People from many backgrounds had come to join the commitee having somewhat contrasting ideas.
The new people of the committee had strictly influenced the events of the French revolution. The committee had created strict laws towards people who would interfere with the revolution. Arguments within the Committee of Public Safety itself had grown so violent that it relocated its meetings.
The death of Robespierre ultimately led the committee in a disarray. The Committee's influence diminished, and it was disestablished in 1795. This committee's actions weren't seen as good but their influence indefinetly played a role in the French revolution.
