Opening scene, the manager, Steven, is going over the goals. The team is behind on their goals and the team is at a lost on why. Steve is arguing with some employees while others are disengaged.
Steven goes to his director, Chris, asking for help. Chris talks about a Franklin Covey Leadership class he took last week and explains how if Steven wants hit his goals he needs to first inspire trust on his team.
Steven takes the material home that his director had given him and learns how important trust is. (Narrator gives high trust examples ) If his team trusts him then they will be more efficient which means the projects get done faster and with less cost!
Steven is really inspired by what he learned from the previous evening. He goes to Chris ready to learn it all. Chris provides Steven all the materials and sets up daily meetings to discuss what Steven has learned.
Steven spends the next several days learning about Clarify Purpose (narrator talks about Clarify Team Purpose) and Align Systems (narrator talks about what a WIG goal is and how to build and measure one)
Steven implements all that he has learned. After gaining his employees trust and helping clarify his teams purpose creates a WIG for his team (WIG board in background). They now hold weekly WIG meetings and are now on pace to meet their yearly numbers!
