  • Most of the People in the United States at the time were protestants.

  • After arriving in the US Irish immigrants were given some of the worse jobs that slaves used to do. They were seen as a less expensive way to get things done. Also if one of the workers died then it would not be a big loss.
  • This is a very rigorous task
  • After immigrants came to the US many of the other cultures women did not see fit to be just housekeepers. So they resisted as much as they could so they could have better jobs.
  • I WILL NOT JUST WORK IN THE KITCHEN!
  • After the Immigration reform two different types of Christianity were mixed causing great arguments over what was actually right. This also lead to the Religious reform.
