Swoodies? Yes! Jobs and working? No!
Everyone living in the city could not tear themselves from the luxurious comfort dessert called Swoodies. They left their jobs and workplaces to indulge in the sweets.
All the storefronts, businesses, and buildings were dead and silent. All of the people who ran them were occupied by the Swoodie shop.
The government building was empty and silent. The electric generator that supplied the city's electric was unmanned.
They didn't believe me.
Without power, the city's lights completely flicked off. Streetlamps and every lightbulb in the city failed. A total blackout, combined with the hostile darkness of the night, was instated.
UFOs swoop down after the lights flicker off, and ropes that stuck to human flesh descended. The mall's roof split open, and the civilians in the Swoodie shop were all snatched up. The UFOs vanished afterwards.
The Swoodie shop was again an office building, the weight loss machine was no more, and Deb's brother thought in the now-empty town.
