Storyboard Text

  • Demeter: PERSEPHONE! Don't be late home, okay?
  • Persephone: Okay, mom!
  • Persephone: Aww...what's your name?
  • (Thinking) I am so late!
  • Cerberus: WOOF WOOF!
  • Hades: BE QUIET! NO ONE IS LEAVING AND THAT'S FINAL!
  • Persephone: PLEASE LET ME GO!
  • With no luck in finding Persephone, Demeter became very devastated and did not care in anything else except finding her beloved daughter. Suddenly, the warm atmosphere that wrapped Demeter up like a blanket, grew cold and the flowers died, birds flew away and grass turned into mud. Spring was nowhere to be seen.
  • Demeter: PERSEPHONE! Where are you?
  • Glad to see her daughter back with Zeus' help, everything came back to normal until when Persephone told her mother about the Underworld including the delicious fruit Hades gave her on the way back to earth. Hearing all this, Demeter became sad again because she knew that if someone accepts any food from the Underworld, they're bound to stay with Hades forever.
  • Zeus: I'm sorry but Persephone must go back to the Underworld but i promise you, she will come back every six months.
  • Just as Zeus promised, Persephone came back and Demeter was more than delighted to see her. Then once again, spring greeted the earth with a warm and comforting air to breathe in alongside gorgeous flowers that grew everywhere.
