  • During the Great Depression, Herbert Hoover was at power and blamed, after he failed as president Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected President. He came up with the New Deal, which was then passed by Congress.
  • Please proceed...

  • It's been so much better in the stock markets ever since Roosevelt has been but into power.
  • The New Deal's policies focused on relief and reform in the form of public works programs to increase employment and regulate the stock market, banks, businesses production, and agricultural production
  • Sure has. Now employment is increasing and people are able to get jobs.
  • His deal enhanced the national government's role in the economy and the lives of individuals. Direct relief was put into place.
  • Life is going to get a whole lot better now...
