Werner Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle Formulator
By joenadavid, Updated
This is all about Werner Heisenberg and his Uncertainty Principle
On December 5, 1901 at Wurzburg, Annie Wecklein gave birth to a baby boy. Dr, August Heisenberg and Annie Wecklein gave this little boy a name, Werner Heisenberg. They didn’t know that this boy can be famous because of his Uncertainty Principle.
One day, a scientist named Neils Bohr discovered something about electrons
Ahah! Now I know, electrons orbit around the nucleus! Just like the Solar System. Sun as the nucleus and the electrons as planets revolving around it.
Neils Bohr’s conclusion is amazing! But who knows that Werner Heisenberg rejects Bohr’s conclusion
Aah! So the Dual Nature, that is, the wave particle-character of electron resulted to Uncertainty Principle.
This Uncertainty Principle is formulated by Heisenberg in 1927.Therefore; Bohr’s planetary model was rejected. How amazing an atom could be! In this principle, electron does not orbit the nucleus in well-defined path.
