Storyboard Text

  • Beginning
  • Middle
  • Ending
  • Zeus is too deeply angry to allow Hephaestus to return at once. He forced him to stay on the island, after he fell from his home with the Gods. He wondered around his new home, not hating it but wanting to go back.
  • Symbolism
  • He started finding great quantities of gold and silver. He found a volcano that he planned to use as a furnace to melt it down and use it to give to Zeus and have him allow him to come home. This plan worked but he was ugly and crippled for the rest of his life from the fall.
  • Motif
  • The Trojan's are planning to attack Greece by sending them a "gift" of a wooden horse. However, when they all went to sleep the Trojan's emerged from the horse and started attecking. This however, did not work and it lead to the fall of the Trojan empire.
  • Theme
  • One symbol of the story is the Trojan horse. I think this because the horse meant surrender but it was the reason they won. The reason they won was because they hid some guys in the horse .
  • The motif in the story is that Hephaestus is crippled and different from the rest of the gods. This is because all of the gods are perfect and he is crippled.
  • The theme of the story is that you shouldn't believe everything you see. I think this because Troy thought that they were surrendering but they weren't. Instead they were hiding in the horse.
