Storyboard Text

  • The President has several different roles, one of them is Chief Legislator. As Chief Legislator, the president's roles are to influence Congress to create laws, sign bills, and veto bills.
  • As I became President of the United States, I thought a lot about the country needing a stricter law on littering. I can't create that law but I can try to talk Congress into making that bill.
  • I believe that a law that is stricter on littering will be beneficial for our country because it will make the environment cleaner for our people. I think that there should be stricter rules in recreational areas on literring, and we should have better surveillance.
  • Dear Mr. president, we have created a bill on littering. There is a more expensive fine for littering, and there will be signs up on why you shouldn't litter.
  • I'm going to veto this bill because it doesn't sound very appealing to me, and it doesn't do much on what I needed the bill to be.
  • I decided to veto this bill because I believe that giving the person who littered bigger fine won't change anything, and putting up signs can't do much also. I feel like there should be some type of surveillance in recreational areas.
