  • Representing the state of Maryland, my client George Williams came to the Bank of the United States and required a sum of $15,000 payed to the state of Maryland

  • The decision has been reached that, the states have no power of taxation to operations instituted by congress. The national government controls the Constitution and laws of the respective states, and cannot be controlled by states.
