The Hans new trade route aloud chinese to trade with other cultures. One of their main trade routes was the silk road. It led them to where hey could trade with the romans. In this presentation you will learn about trade in china and western cultures.
Zhang Qian is often called the father of the silk road because he found. He founded trade in central Asia which was his biggest achievments.
The silk road was not one continuous route. Some parts of the road were protected by the wall however some weren't. The parts that weren't protected often had bandits that would attack and steal your goods.
Kashgar was the point were the east and west part of the road met. The route took people through fertile valleys and tall mountains.
Buddhist values and a variety of different items were shared by different cultures. The road was a good way of spreading news, trading foods, spreading religon and other items.
