Scene 1: Lady Macbeth has been sleepwalking and a doctor has been called to diagnose her. The doctor told Lady Macbeth she would have to cure herself, but she knew so much about murders that she needed to wash her hands.
Scene 3: Macbeth gets information about Malcolm's. The doctor also notifies him of Lady Macbeth's condition. He says that her problems are psychological. Macbeth tells him to do everything he can to cure her, but he doctor cannot.
Scene 4: Malcolm and his army are at Birnham Forest. Malcolm orders his men to chop down branches for camouflage. He does not want Macbeth to know how many men are behind him.
Scene 5: Macbeth receives more reports on Malcolm. He believes his castle is well defended. A cry is heard and it is revealed that Lady Macbeth is dead. Macbeth is crushed but he is also calm. He has come to the conclusion that she wouldn't have lasted long during the war anyways. Macbeth orders everyone to prepare for battle.
Scene 6 & 7: Malcolm is at Macbeth's castle. The first person to fight Macbeth is Young Siward and he dies. Malcolm and Siward find that the castle has been left attended and they enter it.
Scene 8: Macbeth and Macduff fight. It is revealed that Macduff was not born of a natural child birth and therefore not born to a woman. Macbeth's hope is lost and he is killed. Macduff brings Macbeth's head to the new king of Scotland, Malcolm.
