  • Woah, this looks sciency!
  • That's because it is! It's my sciency big machine. Watch!
  • Holy cow! How does it do that?
  • That's just how it functions.
  • That really wasn't much of an explanation...
  • Well, it's complicated. Press the inverse button and it can go in reverse!
  • It's as big as it was at the beginning!
  • Right you are! The inverse of a function takes IN the output and puts OUT the input of the original function.
  • So if something goes through both directions, it ends up exactly like it was before.  Output = Input, Y = X.
  • It's so amazing and yet you only use it on these little red circles...
  • 
  • Well, the math behind it, at least, is used for exchanging currencies, converting units of measurement, and other real world tasks that require being able to convert in opposite directions.
