In the story Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan. The main character is Percy Jackson. In this story Percy is getting used to being the son of Poseidon. He goes to Camp Half-blood every year. This is a camp for kids whoare half human and half God. In this story Percy takes on another quest or journey. He was having strange dreams about his friend Grover so he along with Annabeth and his brother Tyson sneak out of camp to go on the quest through the Sea of Monsters and rescue Grover.
Annabeth, who is the daughter of Athena (God of Wisdom), is more of a dynamic character. Throughout the story Annabeth hates Percy's brother Tyson because she hates cyclopses. Cyclopses killed her best friend Thalia, daughter of Zeus, Annabeth in the story goes through the massive change because at the end she like Tyson because he saved Percy's life and almost sacrificed his own. Annabeth is more of the one who thinks everything out at first to see what could go wrong. Annabeth is a very important character because without her Percy would not be able to succeed on any of his missions solo.
In this story is a newer character he is introduced in the end of the first book. Tyson is a cyclops he is repelled of fire he can't be injured by fire. We also find out that Tyson is Percy's brother. This is a confusion because Poseidon only had one child. Tyson becomes a joke in the beginning he is made fun of by the kids at camp and even Percy n embarrassed of him. Tyson had to prove himself throughout the story. He did some of the wrong things, and some great things. In the end after the three of them saved camp Tyson is treated as if he is normal.
