Storyboard Text

  • Starting Scene
  • At the hairdresser buying hair
  • Getting Ready!
  • Music: Calm + Peaceful music when Rapunzel is sat by herself. When the witch comes its changes to dark + distressing music. Lighting: It would be bright/cheerful because the scene is set outside. Camera Angles: In this scene the camera angle is an extreme long shot to set the scene showing Rapunzel and the witch.
  • Dropping off the hair!
  • Music: The music would be elevator music to show the viewers that Rapunzel is in a hairdresser/shop. Lighting: In the movie, viewers will be able to see that in this scene the lighting is artificial (inside a shop) Camera Angles: The camera angle used in this scene would be the eye level shot to show Rapunzel and the boy are completely opposite from each other.
  • Dinner
  • Music: The music in this scene would be a motivating + girly song. It will be used to show Rapunzel is excited for the date. Lighting: The lighting in this scene is spotlighted on Rapunzel. She is the figure the audience needs to look at, so this lighting is used to signify that. Camera Angles: When Rapunzel is getting ready (makeup + hair), the shot will be an extreme close up to show viewers what she is doing.
  • Ending Scene
  • Music: This scene shows a darker side of Rapunzel so mysterious music will be played. Lightning: It would be a slightly darker scene as Rapunzel is outside (almost night time). The darkness also adds an effect to the scene by making it more dramatic/scary. Angles: In this scene the angle/shot would be a long shot so the viewers have a clear view that Rapunzel is dropping off the hair.
  • Music: The music in this scene will be very quite as it is set in a restaurant. Lighting: The lighting will be focused on the table to make the date seem a bit unrealistic (to tie in the fairytale) Camera Angles: In this scene there will be multiple different shots such as long shot, medium shot and eye level shot. They will all give different perspectives of the date.
  • Music: The music will be very intimidating in this scene. It will add to the shock for viewers Lighting: Before the boy turned into the witch the lighting would've been normal/bright but after it will be very dark and chilling. Camera Angles: Only a long shot will be used in this scene so viewers can easily see what is happening
