The astrolabe is an ancient astronomical instrument that was made back in Midevil Time.
An astrolabe is a two-dimensional model of the celestial sphere, that was used to travel with.
The Greek Astronomer Hipparchus is often credited for creating the Astrolabe.
They way you use an astrolabe is you set the rule to that position on the ecliptic on the front of the astrolabe, then rotate the rate and rule together until the desired event is in position, and finally read the time from the rules position
The astrolabe is usually made of brass, but there are several types of astrolabes made.
