It was our wedding day and I had just married my handsome husband. Sadly the looks of his credit score were less flattering. Little did I know that when we married that his spending habits reflected on me to.
Buying a house with awful credit was out of the question. We had to settle for a 1 bedroom apartment that was not in the best of shape. When we went to get a loan the lender agreed to give s a small loan at a higher interest rate.
The living situation only seemed to irritate me, sparking my interest in building my credit score, building credit isn't easy and is almost as hard to get a loan having no credit at all as it is to have a poor credit score. To build credit you should start with opening a credit card and making payment on time and the full amount every month
after years of working to improve our credit we were able to buy our first real home. We have started a family and made great changes to our credit. After keeping our eyes on the credit report we were able to positively impact allowing lower interest ratesand better loans.
