  • This was a rioter.During prohibition,caused by the 18th amendment,many rioted because of their anger.They thought this was meaningless.
  • We want beer
  • There also were speakeasies.Speakeasies were hidden bars that illegally sold alcohol.But even though they were hidden,police still could find them.
  • There was also a rise in crime.Gangsters took the opportunity to sell bootleg liqour and get money,mainly because no one else had liqour.And because cops were usually busy,it was even easier for them.
  • From what we know,the reason prohibition started is because of four reasons:effect on religion,national mood,supply usage,and moral.
