Storyboard Text

  • When Sunny leaves, Holden begins to reflect on Allie and an incident they had before his death. he feels guilty from leaving Allie out in a BB gun game. In the ,middle of his flashback, there is a knock on the door.
  • "I miss Allie, I feel guilty for leaving Allie out..."
  • When Holden opens the door, he is confronted with Maurice, the elevator operator who offered Sunny. Maurice demands for the extra money and when Holden refuses, Maurice pins him against the wall while Sunny steals the money from Holden's wallet. After Holden insults him, Maurice begins to hit him.
  • "No, you said $5, what are you going to do?"
  • "GIVE ME THE EXTRA $5 YOU OWE FOR SUNNY, YOUR PROSTITUTE!'
  • The nect morning when Holden goes to get breakfast, he runs into two nuns. he talks to one about Romeo and Juliet. Despite his distaste for organized religion, he forces them to accept ten dollars as a donation. When they leave, he concludes that money makes people depressed.
  • "Here Nuns, take tho $10 for charity!"
  • After buying a record for Phoebe, Holden heads to the park where she use to roller skate. When he arrives, he meets a little girl who is friends with his sister and asks her where Phoebe is.
  • "Have you seen Phoebe?"
  • "I think she's at the museum on a field trip!"
  • The little girl in the park tells Holden that Phoebe was on a school trip at a museum the previous day so he decides to visit. When he does, he notes that he loves that everything stays the same in a museum.
  • "Everything is so still here, every time I came here I felt changed as a kid."
  • When Holden meets up with his date, Sally, at the Biltmore Hotel, he notices that she is late but seems to be very attractive. He takes her to the movies and ice skating when he realizes she wore a short skirt to show off her body. After they return back to the hotel, he asks Sally to run away with him which causes her to point out how ridiculous that is which makes him upset. After insulting her, Sally cry's and Holden decides to leave without her
  • "We should run away together"
  • "You're ridiculous!"
