Once upon a time, there was a Native American family living in Georgia. The family consisted of a two parents and a 12 year old girl names Alo.
They are complete savages and Cannot fit into society!
Alo and her family lived comfortably minding there own business and doing there daily chores of farming and hunting in there tribe.
Those savages are leaving!
More farmland for us!
One day, there tribe had caught word from someone that they were going to be kicked off of there land. This didn't surprise Alo's PArents, but Alo was in shock and scared.
We have to leave our home and go West
President Andrew Jackson had called the Native Americans savages and said it was better for them tomove west. He signed the Indian Removal act in 1830
Even the townspeople thought the Indians were savages and uncivilized. Also, they wanted new farmland for there farm plantations.
Alo's parents had to explain to her that they had to move far west of the Mississippi river. They told her this was because of ignorant people. If they did not move west they would be killed by government soliders
