The great depression was the hardest for the farmers. Farmers were still over producing crops cause of the war and with the great depression going on no one had money to buy any crops. So farmers kept lowering the prices of their crops and they weren't making enough money to pay for all the crops they were over producing.
People couldn't pay for their houses so the bank took them. But the banks couldn't sell them cause no one had money to buy them back.
Banks started to close cause of the stock crash. It caused some banks to close they weren't getting enough money to keep up with loan demands and governments couldn't give money to the banks.
