Storyboard Text

  • Evidence #1: My first evidence is when Charlie accuses Steve about hanging out with the Goodman's because they are blaming them. After, Steve accuses Charlie about no being innocent himself.
  • Theme: Arguing gets you nowhere.
  • You better watch out who you are seen with Steve.
  • Les Goodman
  • You are not above suspicion yourself Charle.
  • Steve
  • Evidence #2: My second evidence is with Steve and Charlie continuing to argue. This time Charlie is complaining about all they can do is just stand around outside. Then, Steve responds fueling the fire, making things worse.
  • Les Goodman
  • Mrs. Goodman
  • Is there anything we can do besides just standing around here?
  • There's something you can do Charlie. You can leave and go home and forget about everything.
  • Evidence #3: My last evidence is when Steve responds to Charlie when he answered him when he complained and he said that he should just leave and go home. Now, Charlie is saying that they should keep an eye on him because he really wants him to leave.
  • You sound very anxious to make me do that, Steve. I think we better keep an eye on you.
  • This example proves that the people of Maple Street are just arguing. They could be doing something better than just blaming each other. Steve and Charlie are starting a rivalry, rather than working together to find the enemy. They are their own enemy.
  • Charlie
  • This statement proves that mankind is just hurting themselves. Steve and Charlie just keep arguing. They are getting nowhere. They are not helping at all.
  • Residence
  • My last evidence clearly states an example of how with peoples' fear and suspicion makes them turn on each other. The people on Maple Street are desperate. They could be doing something productive.
