Newton's Three Laws of Motion
Newtons first law says an object in motion will stay in motion; an object in rest will stay in rest.
An example of this is a ball rolling down a hill. The ball is in motion
Another is a piece of metal lying on the ground. It is not in motion.
A third example is if a ball hit a pin, like in bowling, and knocked the pin over then the stationary pin is now moving. This penguin bowled a strike.
Newton’s second law is that the total force of the object, the net force, and mass, equal how much force that object will have and how it will move.
