Storyboard Text

  • Born on September 21,1947 raised in Portland, Maine was a man known as Stephen king. King was a english teacher at Hampden Academy, he had very low self esteem causing his wife to help him out with the success of his life. He threw out a book that he was working on thinking that it wouldn't help much his wife took it out and told him to finish it that book is titled "Carrie".
  • King was inspired by three aurthors Hector Munor, Vladimir Nabokov, E.T.A. Hoffman. He writes his books based on one specific topic, Horror the reason is because King "understands the fear of others." This was a great idea from king and his success came with his best book "The shinging."
  • So far there has been more than 72 movies inspired by stephen kings stories. Including Carrie, Cujo, Gerald's game, It, and Pet Sematary the list just goes on and on. King had the opportunity to help write the script for Poltergiest. The plan didn't work out very well as king was on a boat headed to the UK causing him to not be aware of the offer.
  • There is much more involving King like the very awaited IT part two.  Part one left us all hanging on a cliff waiting to see when part two will be realeased and it seems as if it will finally happen the summer of 2019 in Torronto
  • But wait theres more! There is more news based off of Stephen King's stories. The remake of Pet sematary may be making its way into the movie theaters to satisfy those that are ready to watch a demonized cat.
  • There was one specific room in the house that King's children had a feeling about. The kids thought it was huanted and decided to not go into the room, mysterious object would appear in the mornings. KIng stated "Near the end of the week, there was my wife curled up on the sofa, reading a Dorothy Sayers mystery with the cat in her lap. I thought that maybe the house had decided to accept us"
  • So many shows have taken the ideas of stephen king and added thier own little twist. The shows are The tommyknockers, The dead zone, Haven. Theres more that haven't been mentioned but many more to come. I'm excited to see what other horror novels can be turned into a T.V. series.
